Connect Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to track your search performance in SeCoFlow.

Overview

SeCoFlow integrates with major search engine webmaster tools to provide comprehensive search performance tracking and analysis. Monitor your rankings, clicks, impressions, and CTR across Google and Bing directly from your SeCoFlow dashboard.

Google Search Console

Google Search Console (GSC) integration is fully supported with real-time data access. Connect your GSC property to track:

  • Search Performance - Clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position
  • Query Analytics - Top performing keywords and search queries
  • Page Performance - Individual page metrics and trends
  • Period Comparisons - Compare current vs previous periods

How to Connect Google Search Console

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations
  2. Click Connect under Google Search Console
  3. Sign in with your Google account that has access to GSC
  4. Grant SeCoFlow permission to read your GSC data
  5. Select the property you want to connect

Data Accuracy

GSC data in SeCoFlow is fetched in real-time directly from Google's API. Data is typically available with a 2-3 day delay from Google (this is a GSC limitation, not SeCoFlow).

Bing Webmaster Tools

Important: Bing Webmaster Tools integration has limited support due to API restrictions. The Bing WMT API was deprecated in 2024 and data is frozen at 2024 levels.

Current Bing Status

  • Historical Data - Available up to 2024
  • Real-time Updates - Not available (API deprecated)
  • Metrics Available - Impressions, clicks, CTR, average position (2024 and earlier)

How to Connect Bing Webmaster Tools

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations
  2. Click Connect under Bing Webmaster Tools
  3. Sign in with your Microsoft account that has access to Bing WMT
  4. Grant SeCoFlow permission to read your Bing WMT data
  5. Select the site you want to connect

Why is Bing Data Limited?

Microsoft deprecated the Bing Webmaster Tools API in 2024. While you can still connect your Bing WMT account, new data is not available through the API. We're monitoring Microsoft's announcements for any updates to their API offerings.

Search Performance Dashboard

Once connected, you can view search performance data on your property overview page:

  • Web Search Tab - Side-by-side comparison of Google and Bing performance
  • Time Period Selector - View data for last 7, 30, or 90 days
  • Trend Indicators - See performance changes vs previous period
  • Key Metrics - Impressions, clicks, CTR, average position

AI Search (Coming Soon)

We're working on integrations for AI-powered search engines and platforms:

  • ChatGPT Search - Track mentions and citations in ChatGPT responses
  • Perplexity AI - Monitor your content's presence in Perplexity answers
  • Claude - Track citations in Claude's responses
  • SearchGPT - Integration when publicly available

These AI search integrations will help you optimize for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and ensure your content is discoverable in the next generation of search.

Troubleshooting

GSC Connection Issues

If you're having trouble connecting Google Search Console:

  • Ensure you have owner or full user access to the GSC property
  • Check that the property URL matches exactly (including https:// and www)
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting if data isn't showing
  • Verify your Google account has the necessary permissions

Missing Data

If connected but not seeing data:

  • GSC - Data has a 2-3 day delay from Google
  • Bing - Only historical data (2024 and earlier) is available
  • Refresh the page - some data is cached for performance
  • Check that you selected the correct property during connection
