Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SeCoFlow platform and services provided by Aurea CV OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (Reg. #: 16944269, VAT: EE 102718876), with its registered address at Saani 2/2-26, 10149 Tallinn, Estonia ("SeCoFlow", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service Description

SeCoFlow is a content optimisation platform that helps businesses improve their visibility in both traditional search engines and AI assistants. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • SEO for Web — content aggregation, optimisation, indexing, and publishing tools for search engine visibility.
  • SEO for AI — content structuring, citation optimisation, and entity markup tools for AI assistant visibility.

SeCoFlow operates on a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. Where AI-powered features are used, you connect your own API keys from third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google). SeCoFlow does not supply AI API access and adds no markup to AI provider costs.

2. Account Registration

To use SeCoFlow you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or remain inactive for an extended period.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

3.1 Plans and Billing

SeCoFlow offers subscription plans with varying feature limits. Plan details and pricing are published on our Pricing page. All prices are in US Dollars (USD) and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

3.2 Free Trial

New accounts may include a free trial period. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using paid features.

3.3 Recurring Billing

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal.

3.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

3.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes apply at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period.

4. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

When using AI-powered features, you provide your own API keys from third-party AI providers. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your API keys are encrypted client-side and transmitted securely. We do not store your keys on our servers in plain text.
  • You are solely responsible for your relationship with each AI provider, including compliance with their terms of service and usage policies.
  • AI provider charges are billed directly to you by the provider. SeCoFlow is not responsible for third-party API costs, rate limits, outages, or changes to provider terms.
  • You must not use API keys that you are not authorised to use.

5. Your Content

"Customer Content" means all text, data, files, URLs, and other material you submit to or generate through SeCoFlow.

  • Ownership: You retain all rights to your Customer Content. SeCoFlow does not claim ownership of your content.
  • Licence to us: You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and display your Customer Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
  • Your responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring your Customer Content does not violate applicable laws, infringe third-party rights, or breach these Terms.

6. Our Intellectual Property

SeCoFlow and its original content, features, functionality, branding, and underlying technology are and remain the exclusive property of Aurea CV OÜ, protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the SeCoFlow name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
  • Resell, sublicence, or white-label the service or its output without our written consent.
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Use the service to develop a competing product or for competitive benchmarking.
  • Introduce malicious code, conduct vulnerability scans, or perform load testing without prior authorisation.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the service outside of documented APIs.
  • Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party intellectual property.

8. No Performance Guarantees

SeCoFlow provides tools to help optimise content for search engines and AI assistants. We do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic increases, AI citations, or any particular SEO or AEO outcome. Search engine and AI assistant algorithms are controlled by third parties and change frequently. Our tools and recommendations are provided for informational purposes and should be used alongside your own professional judgement.

9. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using SeCoFlow, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

We may collect, analyse, and use aggregated, anonymised usage data (which cannot identify you or any individual) to improve our products and services.

10. Availability and Support

We strive to keep SeCoFlow available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform scheduled maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime in advance.

11. Termination

  • By you: You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason.
  • Effect of termination: Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, during which you may request an export. After 30 days, your data will be deleted.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • SeCoFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to SeCoFlow in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, or in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aurea CV OÜ, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your Customer Content, or your use of the service in violation of applicable law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account before they take effect.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights under the law of your country of residence.

17. General

  • Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SeCoFlow regarding the service.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
  • No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
