When ChatGPT launched, we went all in on AI-assisted content writing. Within months we had scaled to tens of thousands of articles across our own properties and sites we managed for others. The output was impressive — the workflow was not.

Content was scattered across Contentful, WordPress, Strapi, Payload — four-plus CMS platforms that never talked to each other. The AI writing tools we used made it worse: inconsistent integrations, tools that died overnight, and no way to harmonize anything. Managing, fixing, and editing articles became more work than writing them in the first place.

We had our programmatic SEO strategy dialed in. Then the SEO-for-AI era arrived — and we hit a second wall. With AI and LLM providers reshaping how people find information, the sheer scale of content on the web made it more important than ever to create and manage content with AI discoverability baked in from the start. It wasn't enough to just publish content anymore. We needed to aggregate it across every platform, identify deficiencies at scale, and fix them automatically so that AI-powered search engines and bots could actually use it. That's when we stopped looking for a solution and started building one.
